Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran

On March 12, 2023 on the eve of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
The heads of the diplomatic departments of Belarus and Iran discussed the state and dynamics of the development of bilateral relations, paying special attention to the practical implementation of the Belarusian-Iranian projects. The action plan was considered within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The constructive nature of the interaction between Minsk and Tehran, as well as the need to intensify bilateral contacts, was emphasized. An exchange of views took place on the most promising areas of trade, economic and investment cooperation. Joint steps were identified to further strengthen the Belarusian-Iranian dialogue in areas of mutual interest.
