Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Aleinik meets the Ambassador of Venezuela

On April 26, 2024 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus, Franklin Ramirez Araque.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of the Belarusian-Venezuelan trade and economic interaction, the prospects for further development of the legal framework of the relations, as well as the issues of organizing and holding a number of joint bilateral events.

The sides also touched upon cooperation within the framework of international organisations, the topic of illegal restrictive measures imposed by a group of Western countries and regional issues.
