Belarus and Moldova

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova were established on November 19, 1992.

Over 90 treaties and agreements regulating bilateral relations have been concluded between the states.

In April 2018, an official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus to Moldova took place. The heads of state also held bilateral meetings within the framework of the CIS and EAEU activities.

In October 2018, a working visit to the Republic of Belarus of a Moldovan government delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova took place. 

In 2019, the President of Moldova visited Belarus twice with a working visits, as well as took part in the opening ceremony of the II European games.

In May 2021, an official visit of the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.

Belarus is one of the main buyers of wine and agricultural products from Moldova. The Moldovan market, in turn, is traditional for the supply of Belarusian agricultural, automotive and municipal vehicles, elevator equipment, pharmaceutical products, etc. 

Approximately 40 representative offices of entities of the commodity distribution network and distributors of Belarusian enterprises operate in Moldova.

In Belarus, 21 enterprises with Moldovan capital operate, including 8 joint ventures and 13 foreign organizations.
