Advisory Council of the CIS Consular Services to Meet in Minsk

During May 31 — June 1, 2012 Minsk will host  the 19th meeting of the Advisory Council of the Heads of Consular Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS member-states. The Republic of Belarus will chair this meeting.

During the event the participants will discuss the issues related to cooperation between the consular services in providing assistance to the citizens of their states abroad; expansion of legal and treaty framework on consular issues; practical implementation of the conventions on legal assistance, as well as other issues of mutual interest.

Photo opportunity is scheduled during the meeting. Representatives of the mass media interested in covering this event should arrive to the Ministry (ul. Lenina, 19) no later than 9.45am on May 31.
