On October 31, 2012 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alexander Guryanov met the US Charge d'Affaires in Belarus Ethan Goldrich at his request.
Alexander Guryanov expressed condolences to the American side in connection with the tragic aftermath of the hurricane Sandy that hit the Eastern coast of the USA.
During the meeting the perspectives of Belarusian-American cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy and investments were discussed. Special focus was made on the new possibilities of mutually beneficial project related to the Common Economic Space of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
