On the Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Alexander Guruanov with the Ambassador-at-Large of the Latvian Foreign Ministry

On October 22, 2013 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Alexander Guruanov met with the Ambassador-at-Large of the Latvian Foreign Ministry Mr.Juris Poikāns.

Ambassador of Belarus to Latvia Mr.Alexander Gerasimenko and the Head of the Division for Europe of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Mr.Valery Kurdukov took part in the discussion.

During the meeting the parties discussed Belarus’ participation in the Eastern Partnership and the development of Belarus-EU dialogue.

The sides gave positive evaluation to the trade and economic interaction between the two countries and marked mutual intention to develop cooperation.

The parties considered the ways of Belarus-Latvia interaction in the sphere of transport and transit expansion.
