Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS Member-States to Take Place in Minsk

On October, 21 Minsk will host the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS member-states.

The representatives of the Commonwealth countries will review the implementation of the Astana OSCE summit (2010) decisions and will discuss the issue of coordinating the positions in preparation for the meeting of the OSCE Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Vilnius.

The delegations will also discuss in detail the process of reforming the OSCE, the activities of OSCE ODIHR, including election observation, as well as a range of other topical issues.

Given the upcoming presidency of the Ukraine in the OSCE in 2013 the participants of the consultations will exchange their views on the priority directions of interaction between the CIS-member states and the OSCE during this period.
