On January 31, 2014 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ethiopia Mr.Dmitry Kuptsel met with Director General of the Chamber of Commerce of Ethiopia Mr.Gashaw Debebe.

During the meeting the parties marked the significant potential of bilateral relations in the sphere of industry, agriculture, energy, road building and public utility housing construction.
The sides considered the draft Memorandum of cooperation between Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chamber of Commerce of Ethiopia, that will allow to develop cooperation between business communities of the two countries, including in the sphere of business information exchange and holding international exhibitions and expositions.
The parties reached agreement to organize the presentation of Belarusian tractor machines in 2014 under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce of Ethiopia, as well as expand industrial cooperation by means of joint enterprises and assembly plants creation.
