Belarus will Preside in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2013

On December 5, 2012, in Ashkhabad the Heads of the CIS states decided that the Republic of Belarus will preside in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2013.
Belarus will present the concept of its presidency, as well as the programme of work to the CIS member-states by the end of 2012.
In 2013 Belarus will chair the meetings of the CIS Council of the Heads of States, SIC Foreign Ministers Council, Economic Council, the Council of Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representatives, as well as the CIS Economic Council Commission.
