On February, 27 Minsk hosted the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Kazakhstan at the level of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko represented the Belarusian side during the consultations and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amankeldy Zhumabayev represented the Kazakh side.
During the negotiations the sides discussed the dynamics and prospects of bilateral relations, including the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, the implementation of previously reached agreements and further collaboration within the framework of the CIS, the CES and the CSTO.
After the consultations the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Martynov met with the head of the Kazakh delegation.
