On the Participation of Belarus’ Ambassador Mr.Leonid Krupets in the Global Conference on Child Labour

On October 8 – 10, 2013 Mr.Leonid Krupets, Ambassador of Belarus to Brazil, took part in the III International Global Conference on Child Labour in Brasilia.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Brazil Ms.Dilma Rousseff, Director General of the International Labour Organization Mr.Guy Ryder, the representatives of the United Nations Children's Fund, Food and Agricultural Organization.

During the conference the representatives from 153 countries discussed the reasons and conditions of using child labour. The participants of the event in their speeches considered the measures taken by the governments and public organizations in this sphere, discussed the ways of eliminating the worst forms of child labour.
