On Meetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei

On October 2, 2012 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei met with Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon. The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Belarus and the United Nations during the meeting. Vladimir Makei confirmed the invitation to the UN Secretary-General to visit Belarus.
On the same day, the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry held talks with Director General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Ahmet Üzümcü. The parties discussed next steps for the development of cooperation between Belarus and the OPCW.
At the end of his visit to New York Belarusian Foreign Minister gave an interview to «United Nations Radio».
