On the Presentation of Credentials by Mr.Pavel Latushko to Director-General of UNESCO

On February 25, 2013 Mr.Pavel Latushko, Permanent Representative of Belarus to UNESCO, presented credentials to Ms.Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, in the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.

During the meeting Mr.Pavel Latushko and Ms.Irina Bokova marked the leading role of UNESCO in the development of international cooperation in culture, education and science.

The Permanent Representative of Belarus underlined that our country interacts with UNESCO in the implementation of joint projects (40 projects were implemented in Belarus in 2012 under the auspices or through the mediation of UNESCO).

Ms.Irina Bokova highly evaluated the contribution of Belarus into the activity of the organization and expressed readiness to support the initiative of Belarus in cultural sphere.
