On the Meeting of Mr.Alexander Mikhnevich, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, with Mr.Alexander Surikov, Ambassador of Russia

On August 28, 2013 Mr.Alexander Surikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus, was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

During the meeting Mr.Alexander Mikhnevich drew attention of the Ambassador to the inadmissibility of the incorrect interpretations and concoctions concerning the situation connected with the detention of Vladislav Baumgertner.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus called the Russian side to keep the situation in the scope of law and marked the necessity of the competent authorities of the two countries interaction, as there is the legal base available for that.
