On the Meeting with the Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland

On November 15, 2012 the meeting of Mr.Sergei Malinowski, the Head of the Europe Department of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, led by Mr.Olli Kantanen, the Head of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department, and Ms.Maria-Liisa Kiljunen, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Lithuania and Belarus, took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of the development of bilateral relations between Belarus and Finland in politics and trade as well as economic cooperation, cooperation in environmental and humanitarian spheres.
The sides discussed relations between Belarus and the EU, and other issues of international cooperation.
The parties agreed to further develop and widen mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Finland.
