On Belarus’ Participation in the XIII Session of the CIS Supreme Audit Institution Council’s Heads

On September 5, 2013 the XIII Session of the CIS Supreme Audit Institutions Council’s Heads took place in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The Belarusian delegation headed by Mr.Alexander Yakobson, Chairman of the State control Committee of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the event.

There were 10 issues on the agenda during the session. The participants paid much attention to the role and place of the Supreme Audit Institutions of CIS member-states in auditing the application of funds, which are devoted to the support of the agricultural producers.

The parties discussed the current practice of work in the Supreme Audit Institutions of CIS member-states in that sphere. Mr.Alexander Yakobson presented the report on the management and practical aspects of work in the State control Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

Following the results of the session the final documents of the XIII Session of the SAI Council were signed. The parties agreed to hold the next session in October, 2014 in Kishinev.
