On the Creation of Mexico-Belarus Friendship Group

On February 11, 2014 a ceremony of signing a document on the establishment of Mexico-Belarus Friendship Group took place in the Parliament of Mexico.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Cuba Mr.Vladimir Astapenko took part in the event.
Within the visit to Mexico, Mr.Vladimir Astapenko met with Chairman of the Foreign Policy Commission of Mexican Parliament Mr.Eloy Cantu Segovia and Director General for Europe of the Foreign Ministry of Mexico Mr.Alejandro Negrin.
The Belarusian diplomat will also meet with governors of a number of Mexican states, the leadership of the Mexican Labour Party, a representative of which, Ms.Magdalena del Socorro Nunez Monreal, headed the group of friendship with Belarus.
