On the Visit of Ms.Alena Kupchyna, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Vilnius

On June 12 – 13, 2013 Ms.Alena Kupchyna, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, was on a working visit to Vilnius.

Ms.Alena Kupchyna took part in the consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Lithuania. During the consultations the parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation development, as well as a wide range of issues concerning Belarus-EU dialogue before Lithuania assumes the chairmanship in the EU.

Within the visit the Deputy Minister handed to the Lithuanian side the final report of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection on the environment impact assessment that regards the nuclear power station construction in Belarus.

Ms.Alena Kupchyna held a meeting with Mr.Linas Linkevicius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
