On the Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Alexander Guryanov with the Governor of the Brazilian State Mr.Simão Jatene

On November 13, 2013 in Belem within the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Brazil Mr.Alexander Guryanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, met with the governor of the Brazilian state Para Mr.Simão Jatene.

During the meeting the parties discussed the development of the mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and the state of Para. Deputy Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry presented information on the export potential of the Belarusian economy. Mr.Simão Jatene expressed interest of the Brazilian side in cooperation in the sphere of agricultural and heavy motor equipment deliveries to Brazil, as well the creation of joint manufacturing enterprises that produce the abovementioned equipment.

Mr.Simão Jatene accepted the invitation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Alexander Guryanov to visit Belarus together with the delegation of Brazilian businessmen. The representatives of Brazil intend to visit the leading Belarusian enterprises to familiarize with the production and sign agreements on cooperation.
