On the Visit of EBRD Representatives to Belarus

On November 1 — 2, 2012 Olivier Descamps — Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Turkey, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and Paul-Henri Forestier — Director of the territorial department of EBRD for Belarus, Moldova and the Caucasus, are visiting Belarus.
On November 1st Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Aleinik was meeting with the EBRD representatives.
During the meeting the parties will discuss the issue of a new country strategy of EBRD for Belarus for 2013-2016 as well as the implementation of the financing project for the municipal sector of Belarus. Sergey Aleinik will inform the other party about state-owned enterprises privatization plan.
The programme of the EBRD delegation’s visit also includes meetings with Vladimir Semashko — First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus and heads of a number of Government Agencies.
