Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN presented his credentials to Secretary-General of the United Nations

On January, 4, 2012 the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the UN Andrei Dapkiunas presented his credentials to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the UN headquarters in New York.

After the ceremony the Permanent Representative of Belarus and UN Secretary General held a conversation. The Belarusian diplomat confirmed the intention of Belarus to contribute to the strengthening of the UN authority and potential as the main center of the world multilateral diplomacy by means of practical initiative actions.

The sides agreed to have close cooperation between the mission of Belarus and the UN Secretariat in implementation of a number of Belarusian initiatives within the UN.
