Press Secretary Andrei Savinykh comments the statement of Polish Ambassador on the situation with the building of the Embassy

To our great regret in his statements about the building the Ambassador of Poland, Mr. Sherepka is highly disingenuous.

In full compliance with all legal procedures the Polish party had been duly notified about the termination of the contract for the embassy building already 5 years ago.

A plot of land in a prestigious place in Minsk was allocated to the Polish Embassy in 2008 for the new building. The Polish side has accepted the proposal and signed the respective legal document.

Further, the Polish side simply did not take any visible for us actions.

Unfortunately, more and more often we face with examples where a high-sounding phrases and demonstrative postures of the Polish diplomacy are trying to conceal lack of common sense, and sometimes, as in this case, plain irresponsibility.
