Belarusian-Serbian interministerial consultations

On March 20, 2025 a new round of consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia took place in Belgrade. The Belarusian delegation at the negotiations was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yury Ambrazevich, and the Serbian delegation was headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Damjan Jović. A meeting was also held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Djuric.

 
 

During the consultations, the parties discussed current issues of Belarusian-Serbian relations, including the further development of political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation, expansion of the legal framework, interaction between Minsk and Belgrade on international platforms, as well as in the humanitarian sphere.

In Belgrade, Y.Ambrazevich also met with the Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia responsible for international economic cooperation and the social status of the church in the country and abroad, Nenad Popović, members of the parliamentary friendship group with Belarus in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, representatives of Serbian business and expert circles.

During all meetings and negotiations, the traditionally friendly nature of Belarusian-Serbian relations and mutual commitment to further expansion of bilateral cooperation were confirmed.
