On the Session of Belarus-Ukraine Intergovernmental Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation

On May 22, 2013 the 22nd session of Belarus-Ukraine Intergovernmental Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation under the chairmanship of Mr.Vladimir Semashko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, and Mr.Sergei Arbuzov, First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine, took place in Kiev.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus was represented by Mr.Alexander Mikhnevich, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the session the parties considered the issues of trade and economic cooperation, including industrial cooperation and the creation of joint production in agricultural engineering industry, agricultural sector, transport, chemical industry, fuel and energy spheres.

The parties signed the Agreement between the Government of Belarus and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on interregional and trans-border cooperation.

Mr.Vladimir Semashko held a meeting with Mr.Nikolai Azarov, Prime-Minister of Ukraine.
