On the Political Consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Iran

On October 22-23, 2013 within the framework of the political consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Iran Mr. Valentin Rybakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, met with Mr. Morteza Sarmadi, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ebrahim Rahimpour, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mr. Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meetings the parties discussed the dynamics and prospects of bilateral political relations, interparliamentary cooperation and cooperation within the international organizations as well as the issues of expanding bilateral agreements and treaties.
Mr. V.Rybakov also met with Mr. M.Nematzade, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Mr. A.Qaeedi, Head of Iran-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group, as well as officials of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
