On the Presentation of Credentials by the Ambassador of Belarus Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty to the President of Gambia Mr.Yahya Jammeh

On November 4, 2013 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Gambia Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty presented credentials to the president of Gambia Mr.Yahya Jammeh.

Within the ceremony Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty had a discussion with Mr.Yahya Jammeh.

The President of Gambia welcomed the accreditation of the first Ambassador of Belarus to Gambia, expressed hope for the development of bilateral relation and political contacts.

Mr.Yahya Jammeh marked interest in the attraction of Belarusian technology and goods deliveries, including agricultural, freight, buss and road building equipment.

The Belarusian diplomat underlined that Belarus and Gambia have significant potential in the expansion of bilateral interaction in different spheres.

Later on the same day the Ambassador of Belarus met with the Minister of Foreign Affair of Gambia. During the meeting the parties discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. The sides marked the necessity of the legal base development.
