On the Meeting with the Delegation of the People?s Republic of China

On December 13, 2012 the meeting with the delegation of the People’s Republic of China took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The meeting was headed by Mr.Igor Nazaruk, Deputy Director of the Department for Foreign Economic Activity.
The China delegation included the representatives of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce and Trade and Economic Cooperation Department of the Embassy of the PRC in Belarus.
During the meeting the China delegation was informed on the participation of Belarus in regional economic communities, such as the Customs Union and the Free Market Zone, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Moreover, Belarus integration into the WTO was discussed during the meeting. The parties exchanged their views on the further development of trade and economic cooperation.
