Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Y.Ambrazevich meets the Ambassador of Sri Lanka

On January 12, 2023 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Janit Abeivikrem Liyanaga.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the entire range of issues of the Belarusian-Lankan relations and discussed promising areas for developing cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.

Y.Ambrazevich congratulated the head of the Sri Lankan diplomatic mission on the opening of the Office of the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Belarus and expressed hope that its work would further develop bilateral ties in trade, education, science, technology, tourism and culture, as well as intensify business exchanges.
