On the Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Vladimir Makei to Iran

On March 16, 2014 began the official visit of Mr. Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, to Iran.



During the first day of the visit Mr. Vladimir Makei met Mr.Mohammad Javad Zarif Khonsari, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The state and perspectives of bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres were reviewed. The parties confirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation in the fields of higher education, science, culture, sports and tourism.



After the talks the two Foreign Ministers held a joint press conference.

Minister Makei also met representatives of business circles of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
