On 5 October, 2012 Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, met with Sultan Rashid Al-Khater, Deputy Minister of Business and Trade of Qatar.
During the meeting the parties discussed the current situation and the prospects of Belarusian-Qatari cooperation as well as the fulfillment of the existing bilateral agreements.
Sultan Rashid Al-Khater, Deputy Minister of Business and Trade of Qatar, is Deputy Chairman of the Qatari part of the joint Belarusian-Qatari Committee on economic, trade and technical cooperation. He is the head of the Qatari delegation at the 2nd session of the joint Committee.
