On the Meeting of Mr.Igor Leshchenya, the Head of the Department for Africa and the Middle East with the Ambassador of Iraq

On August 22, 2013 Mr.Igor Leshchenya, the Head of the Department for Africa and the Middle East met with Mr.Haidar Mansour Hadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting the parties discussed actual issues on the bilateral agenda.

Special attention was paid to the development of the legal basis for the Belarus-Iraq cooperation. The sides agreed to exert joint efforts aimed at activization of interaction between the ministries and agencies of Belarus and Iraq as well as exchange of visits of business delegations in order to facilitate the bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

In the course of the meeting the parties also exchanged views on key international and regional problems.
