On the Participation of Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, in the CSTO meeting

On September 23, 2013 Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, takes part in joint session of CSTO Foreign Ministers Council, Defense Ministers Council and Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the CSTO member states.
During the event the parties exchanged the views on actual issues of the international agenda and also discussed a number of documents for further consideration by the heads of the states.
Special attention was paid to the most urgent problems directly affecting the security and stability of the allies.
In particular, was discussed the question of providing military and technical assistance to Tajikistan in connection with the deteriorating situation on the Tajik-Afghan border.
