On the Visit of the Calarasi Delegation to the Republic of Belarus

On September 4 – 9, 2013 the official delegation of the Romanian city Calarasi (the twin town of Svetlogorsk in Gomel region) headed by Mr.Daniel Ștefan Drăgulin is on visit to the Repiblic of Belarus.

The visit is organized by the Belarusian Embassy in Romania to develop regional cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting in the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus the parties will discuss the development of cooperation with Belarusian producers of agricultural machinery for the organization of assembly production in Calarasi.

The Romanian delegation will visit Minsk Tractor Works and Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University to study the issue of the training-centre foundation in Calarasi to educate Romanian students and farmers using Belarusian tractors. This project is realized as part of Memorandum of cooperation and Declaration of intent, which were signed with the leaders of Calarasi and University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Romania.

During the visit to Belarus Romanian delegation will take part in Svetlogorsk's City day festivities.
