On the Consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Russia

On May 21, 2013 the consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Russia on cooperation on human rights issues in international organizations took place in Minsk.

Belarus delegation was headed by Mr.Yuri Ambrazevich, Head of the Department for Multilateral Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, delegation from Russia was led by Mr.Konstantin Dolgov, Russian Foreign Ministry's Special Representative for Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law.

During the consultations current issues of international agenda, present state and perspectives of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Belarus and Russia on human rights were discussed.

 

Belarus and Russia shared their experiences on human rights agenda within the United Nations as well as other international organizations. The parties agreed to coordinate their approaches towards human rights violations in third countries.
