Belarus-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Met in Minsk

On May 4 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus hosted the 4th meeting of the Belarus-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, created within the framework of the intergovernmental Agreement on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical cooperation, signed on January 22, 2009.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksandr Guryanov chairs the Belarusian part of the Commission; the Czech part was headed by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Milan Hovorka.

The Czech delegation included Deputy Minister of Agriculture Martin Hlaváček, Deputy Minister of Transport Ivo Vykydal, heads of various organizations and banks that take an active part in financing projects on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, as well as representatives of Czech companies.

Minutes of the 4th Belarus-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Met in Minsk are signed as the result of the meeting.

On the eve of the session, on May 3 the sides organized the meetings of the working groups on cooperation in the area of transports, scientific, technical and innovation spheres, and the talks on the most important issues of the bilateral cooperation.
