On the Session of Belarus-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation

On November 12, 2013 the 8th session of Belarus-Azerbaijan Committee on Trade and Economic cooperation took place in Baku.

The Belarusian part of the committee was headed by First Deputy Prime-Minister of Belarus Mr.Vladimir Semashko, the Azerbaijanian – by First Deputy Prime-Minister of Azerbaijan Mr.Yaqub Eyyubov.

The parties marked the positive dynamics in bilateral interaction development, successful implementation of the decisions adopted within the previous session of the Intergovernmental Committee.

On November 13, 2013 the Belarusian delegation headed by Mr.Vladimir Semashko met with the Prime-Minister of Azerbaijan Mr.Artur Rasizade and Deputy Prime-Minister of Azerbaijan Mr.Ismet Abbasov.

The participants of the meeting discussed the dynamics and prospects of Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation, including in agriculture, construction, social housing engineering, education, healthcare, science and technology.

The sides also considered the implementation of joint projects on industrial cooperation and the development of the legal framework.
