Second Day of Visit to Indonesia of Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov

On June 12, during the visit to the Republic of Indonesia the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Martynov held talks with the Speaker of the Lower Chamber of the Indonesian Parliament Marzuki Alie. The sides discussed key spheres of Belarus-Indonesia cooperation, including the expansion of the legal base of bilateral cooperation, and the specific steps towards strengthening inter-parliamentary dialog between the two states.

S.Martynov held meetings with Indonesian ministers of trade, defense, research and technology to review in detail the possibilities of further expanding all-round cooperation between Belarus and Indonesia.

Expansion of contacts between the business circles of the two states became the key topic during the Meeting of S.Martynov with the executives of the Camber of Industry and Commerce of Indonesia and business circles of this country.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus also discussed the issues of organizing relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations during the meeting with the General Secretary of the Association, Surin Pitsuwan.
