On the meeting of the joint commission in Venezuela

Belarusian delegation headed by Victor Sheiman, the Assistant-at-Large to the President of the Republic of Belarus, will pay a working visit to Caracas (Venezuela) on September 27 — October 3.

The purpose of the visit is to hold a meeting of the Belarusian-Venezuelan joint high-level Commission.

Sergei Aleinik, Deputy Foreign Minister, is included in the composition of the delegation on the part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meetings of the group on political issues, working groups on cooperation in oil production, petrochemical, gasification and energy, industry, science and technology, housing, the group on cooperation in food and agriculture, as well as groups on trade issues is scheduled within the framework of the Commission.

During these events, the parties will discuss issues related to ensuring of effective operation of the joint enterprise for oil production “Petrolera BeloVenezolana”, the joint enterprise for exploration seismology “Sismica BeloVenezolana ”, as well as the launch of a joint enterprise for providing services in the oil sector “Petroleros BeloVenezolana.”

Bilateral Commission will review the implementation of the projects for the construction of tractor, automobile, road-building equipment assembly plants in the state of Barinas, organization of after-sales service of Belarusian machinery in Venezuela, the operations of the joint Belarusian-Venezuelan trade enterprise “Venbelcom.”

Commission members will also get acquainted with the housing construction in the states of Aragua, Barinas, and also agro-town construction in the state of Guarico.
