On the Participation of Belarus’ Delegation in the Annual Session of UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS Executive Board

On June 3 – 14, 2013 the annual session of the Joint Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme, United Nations Fund for Population and United Nations Office for Project Services takes place in the UN headquarters in New York. Belarus takes part in the session as the full member of the Executive Board.

During the session the parties plan to consider and discuss the efficiency of UNDP, UNFPA and UNOPS activities and some financial issues.

Special attention of the countries-members of the Executive Board will be drawn to the draft strategic plan of UNDP, UNFPA and UNOPS for 2014-2017.

The Belarusian delegation will take an active part in the discussion of the key issues on the agenda, including the annual reports of the UNDP Administrator and UNFPA Executive Director, the results of the regional UNDP Programme for European and CIS countries implementation, as well as UNFPA evaluation policy.
