Ambassador of Belarus in Venezuela participated in the ceremony of delivering flats constructed by Belarusian and Venezuelan builders

In line with the agreements reached between President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Chávez the Belarusian builders participate in large-scale Venezuelan government program of housing construction.

On New Year Eve the first 720 flats constructed by Belarusian and Venezuelan builders were commissioned in Venezuelan city Marakay, state of Aragua. Another 1800 flats built with the help of Belarusian constructors will have been commissioned in Marakay by the January of the current year. The new flats will be provided to the Venezuelan families that were left homeless during torrential rain emergency at the end of 2011.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Venezuela Valentin Gurinovich made a speech in the framework of the official ceremony dedicated to the putting into operation of the new flats. The Belarusian diplomat underlined the high level of cooperation between Belarus and Venezuela in the field of housing construction. Valentin Gurinovich informed the participants of the ceremony that Belarus is going to finish the building of the construction materials plant in the region of Guarenas-Guatire, state Miranda by the end of the January, 2012.

At the present moment Belarusian constructors help to build in Venezuela houses (about 20 thousand flats in total), road-building machines plant, factories that will produce Belarusian tractors and trucks, agricultural towns.
