Ninth Session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission Takes Place in Moscow

Ninth session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission takes place in Moscow on  August 24, 2012 under the chair of Sergei Roumas. Igor Petrishenko, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, takes part in this event.

During the meeting the participants will examine the reports of the members of the EEC Board on adoption of the Action Plan on mutual recognition of digital electronic signatures, on measures on ensuring implementation of the Agreement on state (municipal) purchases and Agreement on uniform principles and rules of competition.

The sides will also review the issues initiated by Belarus on strengthening science and technical cooperation, coordination of the national industrial policies with further transition to implementation of coordinated industrial policy in key industries; on free movement of goods within the customs territory and origin of CU/CES goods, as well as a number of other issues of multilateral cooperation.
