On the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government

On October 18, St. Petersburg will host a meeting of the Council of the Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The Belarusian delegation will be headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich.

During the meeting of the Council the CIS Heads of Governments plan to discuss the issues relating to the activities of the CIS bodies, cooperation in transport, social and humanitarian sphere, security, as well as a number of budgetary and financial matters.

The Plan of Action for the implementation of the second phase (2012 -2015) of the Economic Development Strategy of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the period till 2020, the Interstate program of innovative cooperation among the CIS Member States for the period till 2020 will be approved at the meeting. Signing of a number of international treaties is scheduled as well.
