On the Visit of Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, to the Russian Federation

On February 5 – 6, 2013 Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, is on a working visit to the Russian Federation. During the visit Mr.Vladimir Makei will meet with Mr.Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The parties will discuss the issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation and the role of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in the development of integration processes, interaction in the world arena, the implementation of the Program of coordinated actions in the field of foreign policy of the states-parties to the Agreement on the creation of the Union State for 2012 – 2013.

During the visit the issue of the efficiency of Belarus’ participation in the integration processes in view of the chairmanship in the CIS, a new stage of the Common Free Market Zone development and the interaction in the implementation of programs and projects in the framework of the Union State will be considered.
