Belarusian Delegation to Take Part in 21st Meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors

On May 18-19 London will host the 21st Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Belarusian delegation will be headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Semashko. Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be represented by the Deputy Minister, Sergei Aleinik.

The main goals of the session are to define the EBRD development stragegy for 2012-2013 and to elect the EBRD President.

Presentation “Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus: New Investment Opportunities within the Common Economic Space” will take place within the framework of the meeting.

The Belarusian side will have bilateral meetings with the management of the Bank and of other international financial organizations, and with the representatives of the business circles of the Great Britain.
