On October 31, 2013 following the results of the meeting of the Belarusian Foreign Minister Mr.Vladimir Makei and the Turkish Foreign Minister Mr.Ahmet Davutoğlu the press point was organized.

The Heads of the Foreign Ministries marked the constructive political dialogue between Belarus and Turkey.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the results of Mr.Ahmet Davutoğlu’s visit to Belarus that took place in March, 2013, as well as with the visit of Belarus’ Foreign Minister to Turkey.

The sides gave positive estimation of the 8th session of Belarus-Turkey joint intergovernmental economic committee (October 31, 2013 in Ankara), in particular the working out the roadmap of Belarus-Turkey interaction, signing the intergovernmental protocol of cooperation in the sphere of press and information, as well as signing the agreement between investments agencies.

The parties emphasized the efficiency of the meetings of Mr.Vladimir Makei with the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Mr.Nihat Ergün, Speaker of the Parliament Mr.Cemil Cicek, Minister of Culture and Tourism, co-chair of Belarus-Turkey intergovernmental committee Mr.Omer Celik.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Turkey expressed hope for the early ratification of the agreement on the mutual visa abolition.

When answering the questions of the press Mr.Vladimir Makei and Mr.Ahmet Davutoğlu underlined the intent to develop trade and economic cooperation, interaction in the sphere of automobile construction, transport, light and food industry, energy and tourism.
