On the Delivery of Credentials by Mr.Vitaliy Prima to Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka

On December 22, 2012 Mr.Vitaliy Prima, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, delivered credentials to Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka.


The ceremony took place in the President’s Secretariat in Sri Lanka.


After the ceremony Mr.Vitaliy Prima held a discussion on the issue of bilateral relations with Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksa. The parties marked the high level of Belarus-Sri Lanka political interaction, mutual support in international organizations. The sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in trade, education, culture and tourism. Mr.Vitaliy Prima informed Sri Lanka side on Belarus desire to develop cooperation between the businessmen and manufacturers of Belarus and Sri Lanka.


Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksa confirmed that Sri Lanka is interested in the development of cooperation with Belarus.
