Minister Martynov to visit Armenia

On April 16-17 Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Martynov will visit Armenia.

Minister Martynov is scheduled to meet with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, Prime-Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandyan.
 
The sides are set to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic and humanitarian areas as well as the ways to strengthen cooperation on the international arena particularly in the UN, OSCE and CSTO and to enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation.
 
The Belarusian side expects to develop cooperation with Armenia in science and education areas particularly by establishing direct contacts between universities. The sides will also discuss the ways to enhance IT cooperation.
 
Belarus is interested in increasing supplies of road machinery and trucks to Armenia. Besides, Belarus is ready to meet Armenian demand for dump trucks, agriculture machinery and parts as well as set up an assembly facility of Belarusian tractors and agriculture machinery.
 
Investment cooperation will be also on the agenda of the visit.
