On the Working Trip of Mr.Vladimir Drazin to Turku (Finland)

On November 21, 2012 Mr.Vladimir Drazin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Finland and Luthuania, visited Turku to hold negotiations on the development of Belarus-Finland economic cooperation.


The city Council of Turku organized a seminar in which the municipal authorities of South-west region of Finland, representatives of The Baltic Sea Region University Network, Turku Chamber of Trade and Commerce, and environment specialists took part. The participants were informed on the economic situation in Belarus, prospects of development of Belarus-Finland cooperation.
During the negotiations with the representatives of Turku City Council the sides discussed the possibility of holding the 4th Belarus-Finland economic forum in April, 2014.

Mr.Vladimir Drazin met with the Directors of the non-governmental organization “Centrum Balticum” and Pan-European Institute, key officials of the Committee on Environment protection of the Baltic Cities Union. During the meeting the realization of environmental projects in Belarus was discussed.
