Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov meets Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy of Mozambique

On 2 October 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy of the Republic of Mozambique, Estevão Pale, who was visiting Minsk to participate in the 2nd International Industrial Exhibition ‘INNOPROM. Belarus’.

The visit was undertaken in furtherance of agreements reached during Maxim Ryzhenkov’s visit to Mozambique in July 2026.

Particular attention was devoted to the prospects for bilateral co-operation in the fields of energy, the mining industry, and natural resource processing, as well as the supply of Belarusian vehicles and fertilisers.

In this context, the Ministers examined opportunities for the realisation of joint projects and the expansion of direct engagement between the relevant line ministries, agencies, and enterprises of both countries.

The interlocutors underscored the fruitful nature of the Mozambican delegation’s participation in the ‘INNOPROM. Belarus’ exhibition, which afforded an opportunity to become acquainted with the industrial and technological potential of Belarus and facilitated the commencement of substantive, mutually beneficial work.

The parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to the further intensification of Belarusian–Mozambican co-operation across all areas of mutual interest.
