Belarusian business delegation visits Kazakhstan

The delegation of Belarusian business circles visits the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 24 – 29. The visit is organized under the auspices of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Astana.

The Belarusian delegation includes heads of major Belarusian retailers (OJSC “GUM”, OJSC “Minsk Central Department Store”, CMUE “Belarus”, OJSC “Brest central department store”), as well as manufacturing enterprises (CJSC “Sivelga” (Minsk), OJSC “Legpromrazvitie” (Bobruisk), CJSC “Volna” (Minsk region), OJSC “Svetlogorsk plant of reinforced concrete”, “LRC-Naftan Ltd” (Novopolotsk), JV “KTM-2000” (Minsk), OJSC “Polesieelectromash” (Luninets).

The business matchmaking session was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 27.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Valery Brylev and the head of the delegation from the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alexander Fedorchuk addressed to the participants at the beginning of the event. They informed the Belarusian and Kazakh business communities about the activities of the Government of the Republic of Belarus aimed at supporting and strengthening the cooperation between businesses of both countries.

The matchmaking session confirmed the interest of Kazakhstan business in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarusian business circles and found out new opportunities for the extending cooperation.
